Growing Sales by 18 times the market rate in a Global Pharmaceuticals Company

 

Context

Hanover Executive was engaged to support the transition of a high potential leader in a global Pharmaceuticals company into a new marketing role. Our client moved from a senior finance role in the UK to become Marketing Company President in a key European territory. Initially, coaching supported her to change functional perspective and adapt to developing people-focus within a new culture.

Coaching then enabled her to rapidly establish and implement a new high performance model for her team which “freed up individuals to be more autonomous and focus on their core activities”.

Results

Within 8 months of her arrival her team…

  • Had grown sales at 18 times the market rate
  • Moved from 8th position in the market to a top three place
  • Ensured that 5 of the company products were now growing at over 20% pa
