A leading international financial service company with a strong reputation for innovation, wished to both defend and improve its market position, by developing the strategic responsiveness and leadership skills of its top team. The Chief Executive commissioned a team development project from Hanover Executive, who provided extensive team and leadership development, through a combination of personal development plans, facilitated discussion and high performance workshops.
The organisation has now successfully repositioned itself and is engaging in a number of ongoing strategic initiatives to ensure the sustainability of its new competitive stance. The responsibilities of the top team have now been re-aligned in accordance with the requirements of the new strategy. Board level communication has improved and an atmosphere of "focused creativity" has developed.
A key executive, on the verge of leaving the organisation, engaged fully in the team development work and continued to work with a Hanover coach on a one to one executive coaching programme. As a result she identified her key areas for professional growth, relinquished inappropriate areas of responsibility and strongly invested in both her and the organisation's success.
